View our new Powdered Alcohol State Laws page to see a list of laws addressing powdered alcohol in some capacity. A majority of the state activity on this list is legislation that was adopted recently, and nearly all are bans on powdered alcohol products within state borders.

Olivia Newton John's new wine for breast cancer

After years of advocating for a cure, breast cancer survivor and actress Olivia Newtown-John announced her new wine line, promising to donate 20% of the net profits to (her) breast cancer charity. Ten percent of proceeds from the sale of her wine will go to the Olivia Newtown-John Cancer & Wellness Centre, and 10% will go to a branded breast and prostate cancer awareness campaign

Taco Bell Moves to Rebrand...with Alcoholic Slushies

A new Taco Bell location in Chicago has confirmed that it will serve beer, wine, and frozen mixed alcoholic drinks, and branches in other cities such as San Francisco are following suit. Taco Bell is not the first food chain to experiment with alcohol service; Sonic, Burger King, Chipotle, Shake Shack, and Starbucks have too.
