On November 17th, the Food and Drug Administration ruled in favor of public health and safety by declaring that caffeine is an unsafe additive in alcoholic beverages. Meantime, Marin Institute will continue to call for state legislation on these products as well as “supersized alcopops” in general. Stay tuned.
