We Support State Efforts to Lower the BAC Limit to .05.

Research Shows: Lowering the BAC threshold for DUI by 0.02% in the U.S. reduced fatal crash rates by over 10% and saved almost 25,000 lives. Imagine what lowering it from 0.08% to 0.05% could do.

Alcohol Justice joined the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) in calling for a reduction in the illegal blood alcohol concentration (BAC) per se limit from .08 to .05 or lower in the U.S. to save lives and prevent injuries.
