Toymaker MGA Entertainment recently began distributing a line of toy “alcoholic drink” models
under the brand Miniverse “Happy Hour”. These models are sold in plastic-wrapped balls reminiscent of “gacha balls,” where the purchaser does not know what’s inside, giving the same thrill as opening a pack of baseball cards. But we do know what’s inside: a molded plastic “glass” as well as quick drying resin “cocktail”.
Alcohol Justice invites concerned community members and public health and safety organizations to demand that retailers get these products off the shelves. The resources below provide a basic tool kit. Please contact us at advocacy@alcoholjustice.org with any questions or if you would like to be involved further.
